Maria is a professional wrestler and model, currently signed to the WWE performing on its SmackDown brand. On SmackDown and previously on Raw, Kanellis is known simply as Maria, and she acts as a wrestler, manager/valet, and backstage interviewer. Maria was a contestant on the reality show, Outback Jack in 2004. In the same year, she placed fifth in the Raw Diva Search, but was later hired by WWE as a backstage interviewer. Most recently Maria was a playboy cover girl and was featured on the cover of the April 2008 Playboy magazine and was ranked 84th on "FHM's Sexiest Women of 2008". Currently Maria is contracted to WWE on the SmackDown brand, you can catch her every Friday night on CW at 8/7 CT.
